Open Houses
One of the best ways for prospective students to learn more about Salve Regina is to attend one of our Open House events. Meet students, faculty, staff, and athletic coaches, discuss study abroad and internship opportunities, explore the mansions and other residence halls, attend workshops on financial aid and admissions, and interact with other prospective Salve Regina students. We want you to have fun and spend the day exploring all that Salve Regina has to offer!
Fall Open House Events

Salve Regina University invites you to take a closer look at its beautiful oceanfront campus during its fall Open House events. You are encouraged to explore the campus at your leisure and according to your individual interests. Newport is bustling with activity throughout the fall and it is a perfect time to visit.
While on campus we invite you to:
- Meet the faculty and learn about academic programs & majors.
- Meet current Salve Regina students.
- Take a trolley tour.
- Explore the residence halls and academic buildings.
- Speak with our coaches and student athletes.
- Learn about student run clubs and organizations.

Admissions Events & Travel
At Salve Regina, we offer a number of special events designed to showcase our beautiful campus, strong programs and caring community. At our fall open houses you can meet faculty members from all departments, coaches, current students and get a chance to poke around our unique residence halls which will all be open that day for viewing. In the spring, we offer a special program for accepted students called Connections. We encourage you and your family to join us for one of these events.
Not all of our events take place on our Newport campus. Each fall and spring we hit the road to visit students in their hometowns. We visit over 700 high schools across the country and often hold regional information sessions. Check out our travel schedule to see when we are coming to your area.
