| Technology
Salve Regina University has made major investments
in our technology infrastructure for the benefit of our students.
The campus is completely networked so that each student has their
own network connection in their residence hall in addition to basic
cable television and basic telephone service. The cost of all of
these services is covered by the University technology fee.
The university maintains student computer laboratories
and multi-media services on the garden level of the McKillop library.
This area houses over 100 workstations in four laboratories (three
PC and one Apple) with internet access and printing capabilities
on every machine. The labs are open seven days and 92 hours per
week throughout the semester. Professional staff and student lab
monitors are available. The labs are regularly updated in terms
of hardware and software. In addition, several buildings on campus
are equipped for wireless internet access.
